3 traditions to check off

Stamped! keeps these as a checklist, so you can tick each one off on the visit.

  • Brigham Young Statue

A statue of Brigham Young by his grandson, sculptor Mahonri Young, stands in front of the Abraham O. Smoot Administration Building. Visit the statue of the man the school is named for.

  • Stadium Cougar Statue

A bronze cougar, cast in Italy and given by the classes of 1965 and 1969, guards LaVell Edwards Stadium on the northeast end of campus. Take a photo with it.

  • Hourly Carillon Tune

At the top of every hour the Centennial Carillon tolls the first lines of a tune based on the hymn "Come, Come, Ye Saints." Stand near the tower on the hour to hear it.
