3 traditions to check off

Stamped! keeps these as a checklist, so you can tick each one off on the visit.

  • The Long Walk

The Long Walk crosses the Oval toward University Hall; first-year students were once forbidden to use it. Walk its length across the heart of campus.

  • Buckeye Grove

A buckeye tree is planted beside Ohio Stadium for each of Ohio State's first-team All-Americans, each with a plaque. Look for the names of famous players among the trees.

  • Victory Bell

The Victory Bell in Ohio Stadium's southeast tower is rung after every Ohio State win. Listen for it after a home game.
