4 traditions to check off

Stamped! keeps these as a checklist, so you can tick each one off on the visit.

  • Walk the Oval

Designed in 1909 to link the main campus buildings, the Oval is lined with 65 American elm trees. Take a stroll around the historic heart of campus.

  • Meet Under the Clock

For generations, students have arranged to "meet under the clock" in the Lory Student Center. Find the Ram Clock above the food court and listen for its hourly chime.

  • Game Day with CAM the Ram

CAM the Ram, the live mascot named for Colorado A&M, runs across the end zone after Rams touchdowns. The Old Main Bell, stolen in 1919 and returned in 2016, now hangs in a tower at the stadium. Catch a home game at Canvas Stadium.

  • Annual Flower Trial Garden

CSU tests new flower varieties in this garden, which is free and open every day during daylight hours. Visit between late May and October, when the beds are in bloom.
