4 traditions to check off

Stamped! keeps these as a checklist, so you can tick each one off on the visit.

  • Summer Carillon Concerts

On six Fridays each summer, carillonneurs from around the world give free concerts on the 49 bells of Elliott Tower. Come and listen from the lawn around the tower.

  • Rub the Grizz

Students rub the belly of the 8-foot bronze grizzly outside the O'rena for luck before a big exam. Give it a rub and take a photo.

  • Holiday Walk at Meadow Brook Hall

Each holiday season, Meadow Brook Hall is decorated for its Holiday Walk, and Winter Wonder Lights fill the grounds at night. Plan a visit to see the mansion dressed for the season.

  • Summer Concert at Meadow Brook

Meadow Brook Amphitheatre has hosted summer concerts on campus since 1964. Catch a show from a pavilion seat or out on the lawn.
